Terms of Service — InstallMage EXE to MSI Converter

By accessing or using InstallMage, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern your use of the InstallMage EXE to MSI converter and related packaging services. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

InstallMage provides a cloud-based utility that automates the conversion of Windows executables (.exe) into Microsoft Intune deployment packages (.intunewin). We provide the packaging infrastructure, but we do not host, distribute, or license the underlying software you upload. Learn more about how it works on our homepage.

As an IT professional using this service, you agree that:

• You have the right to package the software: You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary legal rights, licenses, and permissions to upload, process, and deploy any .exe file you submit to InstallMage.
• No Malicious Payloads: You will not upload malware, ransomware, spyware, or any file designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to computer systems.
• No Reverse Engineering: You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the InstallMage backend infrastructure or compilation engine. Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination without a refund.

InstallMage is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for flawless compilation, we do not guarantee that every legacy application will package perfectly. You are solely responsible for testing generated .intunewin packages in a lab or staging environment before deploying them to your production network.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstallMage and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to network downtime, loss of profits, data loss, or business interruption resulting from the use or inability to use our generated packages.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.

You retain all rights to the software binaries you upload. InstallMage retains all intellectual property rights to the platform, the user interface, the backend engine, and the wrapping scripts (_Setup.cmd) generated by the service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes via email or a prominent notice on our platform.
